if you have never ever used photoshop in your life but still want to learn how to enhance your photos like the pros, then picnik is your answer. this online app is as easy as it gets and best of all it's free. you even have the option to link picnik to your other photo storage accounts like flickr, photobucket, and even social networking sites like facebook. there are even presets to make your photos look lomo-ish, among other things. there is a premium account for the more advanced features, but you barely need to use them anyway. this is the must-use tool to turn that drab profile picture into something worthy for the Louvre.*
