EMPIRE OF THE SUN

Photobucket

empire of the sun are an australian duo and their eponymous first track from their first album, walking on a dream, is a 80's synthpop track which feels as epic as the movie that shares the band's name. equally epic looking is the music video for said track, which was shot on location in shanghai:

i believe this will be the sound of 2009, which could as well be the sound of 1989.

TIMESCULPTURE

This is a new ad for toshiba. It made my jaw-drop to the floor. I used to be so passionate about creating random things, either in photographs, videos, or whatev., and I actually had an awesome time doing it. But, I am losing my mojo, not only because no one really understands the weird things I do, but also because of how school morphs my creative self into a grade-concerned desperado.

Anyway, this inspired me to see the world differently again! hahah

No seriously!!! Come on, it'll take just one minute of your time

WHEN YOU JUST CAN'T SAY IT IN PERSON: SAY IT WITH NOTES!

10/20/2008 / Comments (0) / by Mark Lim

passive-aggressive notes (http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com) is a website that chronicles the "painfully polite and hilariously hostile writings from shared spaces the world over". the notes found in the blog range from subtle hints of displeasure to outright angry death threats, and all very funny. i've been guilty of leaving notes of the kind myself, but after reading some of the notes from the site, i think i'll refrain from doing such anymore, since i think the desired effect is rarely achieved.
