bigfish really knows how to brew an event that you will not only enjoy but also remember long after dancing has stopped (or, paused). this year's cream halloween ball was absolutely smashing. there is really something different in relation to the dance events that bigfish produces: the set-up, effects, decos, pyros, confetti, and specially the music of the superstar DJs they bring over can't be matched by other events (without the bigfish stamp on it).
being a die-hard fan of electronica (specially the sub-genre: trance) i absolutely enjoyed the music as above & beyond dropped tunes that were putting me into, well... trance. Even two of my friends who weren't really avid listeners of electronica (a rocker & indie boy) were really getting into the groove.
some creative costumes i noticed in the event : Lady GaGa, the 'queen'?, a toilet, dorks (if 'cowboy' was the trend a few years back... dorks is this year's.. am i delusional?), joker, batman, spiderman, pharoahs, op, cops, sexy angels, sexy devils.. i'm pretty sure I missed a whole lot more. i'm not done. you have ONE month to recover for bigfish is bringing another superstar DJ to our shores... unbelievable!
